Thanks for the info, I just haven't heard of this issue with any of the other lifted trucks in the forum, I'm guessing it was from the install then but I'm not sure what. Unfortunately the noise is usually one VERY loud crack/snap and not the quiet/frequent ones in the video. Loud enough to hear...
Two and Five Seconds is the loudest. I hear usually one loud snap/crack that is VERY loud, turns heads from walkers, and it usually slightly turns my steering wheel off centered too when it happens.
I have the 2.5 coilovers kit as well as the rear shackle, so no issue with tremor components...
Happy holidays, wondering if anyone has experienced the "clunk/snap" sound with their ranger:
(? Volume up, it's not crazy loud, sorry)
-Usually when reversing or slow turns, but happens while driving occasionally straight too
-NORMALLY one super LOUD clunk you can hear a mile away... The...
Tires are 35s (Toyo All Terrains) on 17 fuel wheels.
If you are looking at tremor lifts but don't want anything excessive, I'd just get a 2in leveling kit and a rear 1in block, it's a solid stance with the tremor suspension. (Should get UCAs too)
This is a 6inch BDS coilover kit, so it removed...
I have the same issue when full lock at slow speeds and on some offroading, a snapping/cracking sound. Have a BDS 6inch kit on my tremor and it's happened ever since I installed it last month. Maybe CVs or Steering box?
I have the same worry, I'll have to buy that same kit for my '23 tremor.
I talked to a Ford Engineer in Singapore and was told that the higher we lift it, the more we allow our transmission to breathe from the increased airflow to the underbody of the truck. Look into a higher lift, such as...
I searched for the same thing a few months back for my 23 tremor. BDS offers a 6inch coilover lift that works and was confirmed by them via email, not sure about the 6inch lifts from RC and BDS that just use spacers though. I ended up just doing the 2 inch FRL level in the front and a 1inch...
