The shifting gets a lot smoother at around 3,000 miles. Its annoying during the initial break in period, which I've experienced twice because they reset it with the TSB.
As far as the drive, its not a nice as an F-150 in my opinion, but likely much better than what you experienced on the...
I've noticed this on several occasions as well. I've managed to catch it every time before I roll into anything in front of me, but it seems like only a matter of time I bump into something going 1/2 MPH.
I'm curious what dealer in Denver this was? I'm in Denver as well and looking to have this done. I had mine at Freeway ford for some other (warranty) service a couple months ago and was satisfied with that experience.
I geek out on electronics more in my home than in my truck. It does stream music/podcasts flawlessly which is really all I ask for out my truck. For navigation I use my phone so having the bigger screen and built in navigation wasn't very relevant to me.
I like my STX but comes down to...
Anthony - I share the same interest (borderline obsession) with lawn care. Here's a picture of my lawn from last fall here in Colorado. The Ranger will definitely come in handy this spring and summer!
I recently put the factory boards on my truck and like them. They seem to match the other black trim well and I can attest to the difference in keeping slush and dirt off of the truck. Makes a big difference.
I have an STX. To my knowledge it doesn't show which gear you are in. Personally that doesn't bother me, but clearly others will feel different. I normally have that screen set to the digital speedometer and its just matter of clicking the up arrow to see the MPG info.
The electronics suit...
I would probably mention the issue to them. Their word was that they'd only change the trade in value if it was in an accident. So in that way you will find out if they are true to their word. They don't sound like major/uncommon issues either and they have a service department that could...
Brackets are attached to the boards and bolts are included. Very simple install. There’s 6 plastic covers under the truck on each side you need to pop off which reveal the threading to mount them on.
I see that Weathertech now has them available for the vinyl floor model. I was impatient and ended up getting the Weathertech universal liners which I've been happy with for the price, but figured I'd pass along...
Shoot. I tried calling back to change it and apparently they've already ordered them at the $399 price. I still might show them the $300 price when I pick them up to see if they can change it. The part number matches exactly to the 2019 model so seems like they should honor the price.
I just got off the phone with my dealer. They are saying $496 for the black supercrew ones. He says he can do match the $399 price if I can show it to them online. Has anyone seen these listed online anywhere for $399? I am not sure if the screenshots above would be enough to get the job done.
I am at about 1200 miles averaging 19.6 MPG but early on a lot of my driving was in 4WD and in the mountains. I am sure under normal circumstances it gets well above 20 MPG, especially after the initial break in period.
Had an orange Ranger pull up behind me this morning. That was the first "other" ranger I've seen on the road here in Denver. Was that any of you by chance?
