It's actually not the EGR valve. It is the EGR Differential Pressure Feedback sensor, so the PCM can measure EGR gas flow, that goes bad that causes the issue.
It could be the EGR DPFE sensor. Many on here have had the same symptons, and this $20 part fixed it. It causes jerking at light throttle. Some had their torque converters replaced by Ford only to find out it was this part. RockAuto has them fairly cheap.

You're welcome. If the right bulb is dimmer than the left, that could trigger your fault message, as the trailer module senses current and if it is low (like due to a bad connection), it will trigger this message.
It might be a resistive connection to the trailer turn signal wiring or in the truck. Are both trailer turn signal bulbs the same brilliance when you lock the truck and they flash? If the right one is dimmer, then there is a poor connection in the wiring. Do you have another trailer that you can...
Check the turn signals flash when locking by touching the outside of the front door handle. If no flash, there might be a door ajar (also hood ajar) switch or a door locked switch not working.
Might not honk the horn if mis-lock is not enabled. The reason I asked him is if the turn signals don't flash, then a door or tailgate or hood closed sensor may not be indicating closed.
There is a mis-lock setting in the dash menus. If checked or unchecked, does it over-ride this? I have not found an explanation for the mis-lock setting.
I thought of something else. Do your turn signals flash when you touch the outside of one of the front door handles to lock the truck? If not, one of the doors or tailgate closed switches may not be indicating that they are closed.
My 2019 has the rear door handle sensors which looks like were eliminated on later years. What happens if you touch the front passenger door handle to lock the truck? Does only the front passenger door lock, but all other doors are unlocked?
I am not sure how you are checking the rear door handle for it being locked, but if you grab a door handle to open it, it will unlock all the doors and tailgate. Try this, lock the truck with the key fob, then move the fob away from the truck and test to see if all the doors are locked.
The TRM (trailer module) is located up under the passenger side of the dash. It has a 12 pin connector, a 2 pin connector, and a 4 pin connector. Are you saying that the right turn bulb on your trailer lights when you lock the truck, but doesn't light when the right turn signal is on?
That is the connector for the locking differential. It shouldn't have anything to do with a wheel speed sensor. I think that you are disturbing other wiring to the speed sensor when you are unplugging this connector on the differential.
I would assume that the switch on the gas strut would be wired in series with the light inside the topper so that when the window is opened, the inside light comes on.
