Well, two years ago, I took delivery of my brand new ordered, lariat in hot tomato.
Old me thought, the paints party fresh. Let's protect the door edging. What's available these days? I'll take it off after a year or so. Got around to it after two years and I still have not been able to get it...
Decided I needed a break. I'm hanging around my house like a retired old man. Jumped in my Lariat in San Diego and drove to Tucson to the Pima Aerospace Museum. Did the 2 Day Tour. Way too much fun, way too much walking. Way too big for my wife. She puts up with me. Won't do two days worth of...
I have a newer Lariat that I put Foxes on the rear and they felt much softer for the first 500 miles and they seem to stiffen up, even with 50 lbs of sand in the back. It's spring here in soCal, and just had Ford give me a full service in my driveway! He put the full 36 psi in all the tires...
I thought Costco availibiliy was a COVID thing in 2022, but now, I am unsure. Seems the sales managers are getting the hint. Stood up twice on mine to walk out!!!
I have never towed a trailer in my new ranger, but I will tell you as a person who has the seat all the way back these are not visible while driving. if your hands are at 10 and two, you can't see it at all it took me ages to get the feel when I closed my mirrors when I park in my carport
I have tried and used coyote urine on my Ranger. I found that they had chewed my engine cover. There's another post about that, but the engine heat drys it way too quick and it's not meant for rodents.
I have used coyote urine in the middle of a big California city, La Mesa, because any wild...
With my 1987 Ranger, super cab, rare in those times, I used to leave the right rear vent window, open all the time in California. In those days they didn't have cabin vents so the air would over pressurize the cab.
Looking at my current super cab, I see no need for vents, but love all ideas. . .
I thought my SCAB had a misaligned rear door, but it turned out. I just closed it a touch harder. Plus I didn't think I was getting enough heat but I just figured out that I needed to go to Manuel mode turn off the AC and turn the fan on high and definitely will heat your feet well.
Just like...
I can see the pockets in his bed and my bed has them but you still need an extension to the tailgate to support long lumber. I made one, but I never took a picture of it.
I was so sad when my family of four outgrew my 88 Ranger with the inside facing rear seats. This is all before car seats until six and trucks all had two doors no matter how big the cab was.
Yep. Help a guy start that on his 1998 Lincoln. Turns out he hated it. So much easier to find a big CD by album cover than searching with that old technology. Still , the warranty/ reliability of CD trays went up.
With modern electronics better safe (early) than sorry. My ancient Pontiac van bought used, and the battery hidden behind a big round structural tube died at 7 years!!!!
The oil change place told me my wife’s 2017 Buick battery did not test good. I forgot all about it, and it died a month...
