In every video that someone is putting the level kit on, it's an aluminum knuckle but I figured the Tremor was gonna be different. I got the 2" level, it sits a little squatted when you get the measuring tape out but from a normal perspective its plumb dead level.
On top of it being a nightmare...
Alright guys, if you're planning on doing a level kit DIY, F***.... That was probably the hardest install I have ever done, and I've dropped transmissions and changed clutches!!
At some point Ford switched from aluminum to steel for the steering knuckle making all the videos of Stage3 and other...
That's nuts, I think I'm hitting up Discount Tire tomorrow provided everything goes well today with removal and re-install of the crash bars and the lift. Maybe they'll be nice enough to put both sizes on and we can get definitive if things rub or not
The other person you know to have a Tremor with 285/70/R17 is only running a 1" lift and, crash bar removal/low profile ones, and no spacers?
I'm trying to avoid spacers
I'm looking to get new tires as well.
I'm currently looking more at 275/70/R17 (10mm wider than stock making the tire 32.1") stock 265/70/R17 (31.6") just doesn't fit the profile of the truck and wheel well in my opinion.
I'm still exploring if possibly a 285/70/R17 would work without wheel...
I always found it funny that in the FordPass app that our Tremors look like the tires and rims are flush to the body of the truck and then in actuality they tuck a little bit. I think I'll hold off on spacers and get new wheels in the future when things settle down on the family side.
You for...
@LowKeyTremor that was an amazing write up!!
I'm thinking I'm gonna play it safe and get the ReadyLift crash bars installed and the 2" lift installed and then take some measurements with a micrometer to really get an accurate gauge of whether they'd work at the 285/70/R17. I might even bribe my...
I'm looking to put 285/70/R17's on my 2022 Tremor, I'm going to be keeping the stock wheels on but I have a question, are you running wheel spacers? What I'm seeing some people have rubbing on the upper control arm but not from others. I'll be doing the 2" FordRangerLift and removing the crash...
I'll have to check Sync for the update if it's current or not. Struggle bus my wifi doesn't reach the end of my driveway and there's a moving pod in the middle of it right now ?.
That's weak that we didn't get the update, I've got new construction around me and it'd be nice to not look like I'm...
Sweet I appreciate it! The factory LED light on the roof doesn't do a whole lot of justice when you've got a cover on it.
What do you mean by BMS (sorry a little slow sometimes) LOL
Those bed LEDs are clean as hell, is there a brand you used like F150LEDS or something? I've seen people post about them but I can't seem to find them on their website. IF they're DIY would you have any install tips or brand choices?
Thanks!
I got the notification that I have an update in FordPass on October 10, but when I click the link sent in the message center of FordPass and go to the website, enter the VIN it says it's not eligible for an update. (2022 Ranger Tremor)
I’ve got a recall for the windshield, possible fuel in oil (oil change coming soon), and now the fog light moisture. My dealerships gonna have a lot to do
Hey everyone,
I got my ranger Tremor Lariat a couple months back, and with 4,000 ish miles on it I noticed some moisture in the fog lights. Has anyone else had this?
It looked minimal but I'll attach some pictures of both sides to illustrate the problem.
If anyone has any advice or any...
