My iPhone has all the same settings you've noted, and also noted above in some other replies. It finally connected to my Ranger - maybe 30 minutes after I opened the app. But now that I was ready to post this, I looked at the app and there's a notice that services are "Temporarily Unavailable...
When I was in Junior College, and still living at home. I'd go home for lunch, and my Mom was watching some soap opera. Darned if I didn't get hooked on that for a while.
I realize I'm replying to an older thread, and maybe someone has already noted this... but the original color name was "Ingot Silver", and there was/is a thread for that color.
I have a 2019 Ranger Lariat with a 7 year ESP. I'll be mid 70's by then and will be very interested in the Maverick. I would love to see it as a PHEV when that time comes.
I'm at 56K on my 2019 Lariat. All oil changes and routine maintenance done with the original dealer. Just moved, so I'll need to try out the local dealer.
This will be our 3rd build as well, and our last. I question my sanity starting another build at 70+, but we needed to move closer to relatives here.
We did spray foam in our last one, so had the attic area for seasonal storage - my wife loves to decorate for Christmas. Even did a walk up...
I've enjoyed this thread - especially anything related to the new home. We'll start a new build in East Texas in a couple of months. A metal roof has been on our wish list as well. It'll be interesting to see if we get a similar quote as you had.
Interested to know if you're doing...
Working with a body shop for some minor repairs on my Ranger. He said that they were unable to order parts thru the local Ford dealer due to the hacking.
Update: I deleted my Ranger from the app, added it back, and the app at least works. And even though I know my Ranger is in the driveway, the app still can't locate. Then it dawned on me... I had a separate post about dislodging the antenna due to a low-hanging garage door. So I figure that...
My brother has a Maverick, and loves it. I'll definitely keep my Ranger for another couple of years - until the ESP expires. At that time, I'll have to decide if I even want a 2nd vehicle any longer. But a Maverick would be high on my list as a replacement.
Mine also has the damper. But it's such a hassle to disconnect/reconnect it, I don't even bother anymore. Besides that, the only reason I'm ever in my glovebox is to replace the auto registration or insurance documents every year.
I snagged my antenna on a low hanging garage door, and snapped it off - also broke the wire. A co-worker who did something similar said that Ford charged him over $600 to replace it. Is this antenna a full replacement for the OEM? And aside from having to drop the headliner, is there any...
Noted in another post that I can't get the app to work. I uninstalled it, tried again, and it's still the same. Just shows a picture of my Ranger, but that's all. Some presumably menu boxes are greyed out. The only ones I can see are 'Location' and 'Scheduled Remote Starts'. When I select...
The app doesn't work for me at all. It mostly shows a picture of my Ranger - and even then notes it as 'Range' - not 'Ranger'. Several areas are greyed out. Only two menu options are available - 'Location' and 'Schedule Remote Starts' If I select 'Location' it attempts to find my Ranger...
I've known about the issues with the 2 piece lug nuts for a while - just sort of brushed it aside. I was at Discount Tire with my wife's car a few weeks ago. A customer was in there with a car, the tech told her they couldn't get the lug nuts off. Decided then that I wasn't going to fall...
I have the Ford ESP on my Ranger. The only time I've had to use it so far was for some SYNC issues. Because it's a Ford warranty plan, it's registered with Ford. Took it in, the service was done, and just had to pay my deductible.
