Thinking I might just get rock sliders & more plates to protect the bottom of the truck beyond the FX4 plates. any recommendations on what to get for both of those & if sliders are easy enough to install myself?

No they didn't. not sure if they checked this but the OBD2 port was scanned with no negative results

Yeah I believe you described it pretty accurately. Is it normal to clearly hear it fairly loudly in the cabin though? Anything I can do to prevent the sound from coming into the cabin?

Yes it was, was wondering if high oil caused it but still there this morning after I fixed oil level

Funny enough, had to drain about 8 PSI out of all 4 tires after I got home & also add a quart of antifreeze too lol
