Can anyone help me out with a few questions concerning how to disable the ignition or secure my 2020 Ranger Lariat with push button start equiped with the tech package. My area is seeing a spike in car thefts that was capped off today with my sister inlaws 2020 Kia being ripped off in broad...
I apoligize to the group. I was not aware that the two trucks share the same trans. My bad. In the future I will do a bit more reading prior to spouting off.
I should tell you I owned a 2013 F150 4x4 5.0 for 8 years. The truck was bullet proof . Brakes, tires, oil changes. I should be more specific about years model etc. I understand mechanical issues but this sound was gut check on internals that sounded very loose. Not looking for shoulder to...
2020 4x4 Lariat Super Crew

Thanks Yeah I am old off roader . I have cabin in mud country. My F150 I sold to buy my Ranger was just getting to the point of oh well scratched the truck who cares.. My Ranger is a bit straight and clean for the trails I encounter. Very tight and lots of sharp brush. Prob better for my...
I hope my only regret is not locating a ranger with a locking diff . I am finding If i want to add it may not be so easy?? I live in snow country and do hunt and fish in the back country too.
Found a local who took off his OEM steps He had them wrapped never used. 150 bucks mounted up looking good My height challanged wife is very happy. I found out I do use them in some tight spots too.

Thanks Yes we drove a few XL and XLT . We were going to purchase new. This Lariat came up used for a equal price to a new XL. We opted for the equiped Lariat minus the steps lol The factory steps are actully functional. The after market brackets look a bit wide? At 5' my wife struggles with a...
Maybe someone can chime in. I recently bought a 2020 Lariat crew cab Previous owner ordered tech package with no steps. I like the look of the factory steps. I measured and they are a bit over 4".I am considering the Isteps either 4"or the 5". Is it a optical illusion that the Isteps have...

My only fear is first vehicle without a ignition hmm strange I am looking to stick a key in the thing.

Thanks for the quick reply. I looked at Ford info but was very vague. I was not sure if you got different gearing and or trans cooler . I am currently driving a F150 with a tow package. That option on F150 does change up standard equipment.
Thanks Again
