The $750 incentive deal was for orders placed before Jan 2nd and that took delivery before April 1st... but honestly, how many people ordered before Jan 2nd won't have their trucks until well after April 1st?
edit: not sure where I got the April 1st date from. As @rangerdanger pointed out it...
Some of the arguments on that thread literally come down to "it's not a Toyota." Well okay, guess we know where the Tacoma forum stands on that issue...
I have a co-worker with a Focus ST and he had been having issues until he switched to a premium fuel (I mean brand-name vs off-brand, not octane rating). He always uses 93 octane but when he started filling up at the "premium" gas station he noticed an immediate performance improvement. He's...
From what I've read the destination and delivery charges are the same across the country; the cost is averaged from the actual cost to deliver every truck so even if you picked up at the factory you'd pay the D&D charge.
The local dealership (not the dealer I pre-ordered from) has a Saber SuperCab Lariat Sport parked right out in front and I drive past it on my way to work every day. It only makes the waiting worse.
Lots of folks say things like "why get less truck when you can get more for close to the same price?" My reply is the same as it is when I'm offered a deal anywhere. "Buy one get one half-off, if you act now you can get two for less money" kind of thing.
But what if I don't want two? What...
You are ignoring my post; my order was approved the day after yours yet mine was scheduled to build more than a month later. There are several of us who are scheduled for March 11 that ordered in early- to mid-November.
Look at the running list of orders here...
I ordered my Lariat FX4 501a in November, it's currently scheduled to build week of March 11. That's 4 months, plus time for delivery. There are folks on this forum who ordered after me and already have their trucks. I don't know
I think you mean build weeks of 3/4 and 3/11, but in any...
Hi all, I found this the other day and thought it was pretty cool to see what goes into the assembly process. I'm not sure if this has been shared but I didn't see anything in the quick search I ran before posting.
edit: your truck could be in this video! pretty neat.
Yeah, the test drive was done with it set to the highest setting. The dealer rep wanted to show me how it worked and make sure I knew the feeling because it really is quite subtle.
The lane keep assists feels to me like the slightest bit of resistance, almost like pushing two magnets together. It didn't rumble at all and was barely noticeable during my test drive even when forcing it to come on and specifically looking and feeling for the sensation.
Some asked about Trail Control: I took a test drive a few weeks ago and my dealer brought us to some dirt and we tried it out. Here's how it works:
- You set the speed with the CC buttons or with brake pedal/gas (it stays at whatever speed you set it with on the brake pedal)
- Trail Control...
Whether you spend $32 or $75 they're all made in the same factory in China. I bought a cheap Chinese one for my wife's CX-5 and it has worked out great. Looks exactly the same as one that cost three times as much. (because, like I said, they're all made in the same place! :P )
And even then only voids the warranty coverage specifically for the muffler. If your muffler delete causes an exhaust system failure the exhaust system won't be covered under warranty but your transmission would still be covered, for example.
What is the second needle on your tach for? I've only seen the 500a/501a Dash which has the digital screens on either side, no physical tach.
edit: nevermind, looking closer I can see it's the temp gauge.
