I hope Ford comes up with torsen for both. I'm not a rock crawler and prefer my rear diff to have power to both wheels on the street because one tire wears more than the other the way i drive! :LOL:

It’s smoother than my 2018 F450 and smoother than the 2018 Honda touring I traded for it. Smoother than my 2013 Z06. It bounces a bit but it’s a truck. Best riding of all that I’ve owned
To answer the question, If the system is on alert only, you should not receive the bump. If both are set"on" you should get alert visually and by feel. Don't know why you are getting it opposite of your settings.
With only about 200 miles of use my, Ranger shut off in a parking lot when turning and restarting from ASS. It did it again in the garage where I park. Both times it restarted manually but I have not taken it to dealer since i just use the $2.78 LED night light fix. I guess I just lost one...
