I'm struggling with getting the lower half of part #1 off/on without breaking the clips on it. I've already broken a couple, meaning if I want it sit flush I need to replace the entire part. #5 didn't have much give :(.
Bladeranger, thanks for the link on snaps!
How did you guys get the wheel moldings off without destroying the clips? I struggled with that today and broke a few.
The blocking and crash bar access made sense, but I am afraid to try the next side until I figure it out.
BB3 thanks for sharing as this saved me a ton of time.
When reinstalling the lower grill connected to the valence, did you have any issues getting it to snap back in evenly?
Does buying one and negotiating for the dealer to store it for 2 months after purchase fall into that category? (During 2020's early days of 'these unprecedented circumstances')
I did Ubox on a SC-WA move, and found the temp permits for getting the box dropped are pretty easy (even in Seattle) and fairly cheap ($30). We only put stuff in the car we thought might get damaged, but everything made it fine. Good luck!
After the 17th, I will be able to give you a review of the APG UCAs. I chose them based on reviews and they do not require drilling out the top of the factory spindle.
This thread made me check - paid $35,750 in May '20, and with 7K miles, Carvana quoted this. It is tempting, but I am curious how long it would take to find another vehicle.
