Wow. Guess I did speak with the wrong person. It wasn't on the website and the chat now person punted me to the person I talked to. Oh well, their loss. I went with a BedRug and I'm pretty happy with it.
I really like the Duraliner in my F-150. Unfortunately when I called them to ask about one for the Ranger the lady scoffed at me and said, "we only do full size trucks." I did some research and the BedRug looked like a pretty good option. It is now in the box waiting on nicer weather and a day...
I had been looking online at the Ranger, but wasn't really ready to pull the trigger yet. There's a Ford dealer near Costco by me and I had gone shopping and thought I'd go see if the dealer had any Rangers yet that I could see in person. I took one for a test drive and really liked it. I...
After spending a ton of money fixing the locking fuel door and surrounding paint when the thief decided to pry it open with a screwdriver I gave up caring if my fuel door locks. I’d rather lose a tank of gas than deal with the hassle of repairs after I lost the gas anyway.
I couldn't decide, so I have both. One long bed, one short. One 4x4, one 4x2. The ranger is so much easier to park in the tight spaces at work and the F-150 is great for when I need to haul larger items. Neither one fits in my garage because I have too much crap. I had a Colorado when I...
I was very impressed with the ride. It is a truck, but it's just as quiet as my Edge was. I have a 45 mile drive to work so I put a lot of miles on my cars. My F-150 4x2 rides a little nicer over nasty potholes, but I am very comfortable in the Ranger. I also love how quickly it gets up to...
I traded in my Edge for the Ranger. I added a little new car bonus coverage and AAA sent me $50. I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't make up for the cost to register vehicles in CA though. I still have a bad taste left over from the $575 it just cost me to register my F-150.
I had the warning lights go off while going into a turn lane with stopped traffic on the right. No braking though. The automatic braking does work well when using the adaptive cruise control. I still hover with my foot over the brake until it engages.
Went for a Costco run and stopped by the dealer to take a look at the new Ranger to check it out. I never made it to Costco, but did come home with a new Oxford White Lariat.
