While there are a few on here, not everyone is aiming for the fastest truck around. Most on here are putting bigger tires on and want to get some performance back while also exercising some restraint to keep things from going kaboom.
If you're going to keep the truck otherwise stock and just want something to deal with the slop of a ski hill, the Michelin LTX series of tires would serve you nicely.
Its definitely not a loud, shouty exhaust. Its definitely louder than stock, especially on a cold start. However it doesn't sound any louder in the cab than stock. Just sounds a lot better when you're rolling with the windows down.
Agreed, need some guidelines for what you intend to do with the truck. That said, I'd recommend getting the Diode Dynamics fog light kit, probably set aside 700 bucks for a Tom Wood's driveshaft (when the OEM one starts to shake, more of a when than an if), for an exhaust I like my Thermal R&D...
Any time I get the itch to upgrade, I just start running numbers and then I don't want to take on another car payment, especially at today's interest rates... hard to beat the 0% that i've got on my truck now, and its only got about a year left of payments.
That said, I just go and get some new...
Tuned with Ford Performance Tune, other mods are noted in my signature. I'm averaging 18mpg these days, but thats almost entirely around town. Most freeway drives these days involve going up and down hills both directions, so never really get to see good cruising. That said, it'll hang in the...
I would get a bad cap for sure, I would look at Leer option (going from personal experience), they offer integration of the rear window lock with the electronic lock in the tailgate, so you just hit unlock on your fob and you get access to the back. Leer is also aware of the need for extra...
I'd agree, sounds like the phone is the issue. My Samsung S23 ultra has worked perfectly since i got it (more so now that i got away from that botched update that Ford put out). My wife's S21 ultra also never had any issues connecting to the truck.
You would think, and given that I've heard of guys on here having issues with stock trucks i'm inclined to agree and the issue is just a bad design from Ford. Even the Tremor, which has a revised rear shaft is not immune...
Can confirm reports are true, but not limited to lifted/leveled trucks... as I an many others on here will preach, Tom Wood's driveshaft is the way to go. Buy once, cry once... better than fighting with the dealership
I have the KO3's in a 275/70r17, also E rated. They've been great for me, very quiet and well mannered on and off road. I've seen a pretty substantial mpg hit going to them from a 265/70r17 standard load duratrac, but most of my driving since getting them has been around town so i'm hanging...
Biggest selling point for your '20 is that its paid off... that leaves a lot of money for upgrades! Another exhaust i'd look at is the Thermal R&D kits, they're a fair bit cheaper than the AWE ones and also have zero drone in the cab (I have one, its fantastic). Husky makes great mats too, again...
Looks good, and I do recall being shorted a band clamp on mine too. One note, make sure the sensor wire for the hood latch is zip tied up near where the latch itself is. I got mine almost all the way back together before i realized mine was hanging down near the bottom of the intercooler... i...
I'd probably hit it with some touch up paint if the dealer won't touch it. Bed mat and some sort of tonneau cover would probably help too unless you go the spray in liner route.
Give yourself the better part of an afternoon for the install, or better yet a full day... I referenced the mishimoto instructions installing my ESP intercooler, and it was doable but it takes a bit to get everything fitting correctly. Yours might be easier with the silicone charge pipes.
My...
I would also remove the axle nut before you start trying to push things out of the way... its very easy to pop that cv joint apart... i'd rather spend a few bucks on new axle nuts than try to get that thing back together... again...
I think any rear shock you throw on there is going to be an upgrade, unless you go real cheap and get Rancho... which I wouldn't... Initially i threw on Fox 2.0's in the rear only as i snagged them from someone on here a few years back. Instantly i noticed the bouncing you mentioned reduced...
