  1. Running out of gas issue!

None of those things happened. Nothing to repair. The list of things that may go wrong every time you leave the garage is a long one.
  2. Running out of gas issue!

I have run mine out of gas, and coasted in on fumes a few times. Once you put a little more fuel in the tank it just keeps on keeping on.
  3. Colorado Off Road: Medano Pass to Great Sand Dunes NP

Looks like FunTreks "Guide to Colorado Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails". That one concentrates on trails South of I-70, they have a "Northern Colorado" edition as well.
  4. Rear view camera/mirror

I recently installed the Wolfbox as well. With the topper on my truck the view in the stock mirror was all ready limited, and many times the bed was full and the mirror was totally useless. I also pull an off-road camper frequently and have no rear view then. So…I mounted an additional camera...
  5. Transplant from the UK!

I was born and raised in Denver, lived a couple other places in CO and went to school in Boulder. Living in an old historic neighborhood in Denver for a while now. Spent a fair amount of time around both Leadville and Steamboat, very different sort of places but both beautiful. The pic in my...
  6. Transplant from the UK!

If it were any other place then Arkansas! Sorry about that. But welcome to the States none the less. You clearly have the best combination of a stock Ranger. Mountain biking? You need to come out to the mountains! Bought my first “real” mountain bike in 1983, a Stump Jumper ordered through the...
  7. Towing 4500 lb travel trailer up and down 7% grade for 8 miles

Living in Denver and camping throughout the Rocky Mountains (from Montana to New Mexico), pulling a camping trailer up and down the hills is about all I do with it. Mine tops out at just over 5700 pounds and the Ranger pulls and stops it with very little trouble. I've had a reoccurring problem...
  8. Dealer offer on Raptor Ranger

Yeah, but it sure would look nice sitting outside of Dad's Bar!
  9. Lucky

You guys are all talking tow capacity (all though some incorrectly). The OP said “max tow package”, which implies some sort of addition equipment provided by the factory that maximizes the trucks capabilities. Equipment I was afraid I might be missing out on.
  10. Lucky

What is “max tow package” on the Ranger?
  11. new member and new owner of 23 ford ranger xlt tremor

XLT, Cactus Gray, Tremor…Yep. That’s the best kind of Ranger!
  12. NTSB wants to add speed limiters to all new cars

110 mph. Don’t ask me how I know, but it’s been confirmed twice. ?
  13. 2021 fx4 off road screen question.

It shows the "pitch" and "roll" angles of the truck while off roading. Not exactly a gimmick, but not that useful either. The times when I need to know that info, I'm too busy trying not to roll over to bother looking at the instrument cluster.
  14. Decisions decisions.....what would you do?

I wish I had your problems.
  15. Dreaded noisy fan

I'm going to chalk this one up on the side of the ledger that has...tailgate too high, truck lists to the drivers side, weld splatter on the muffler, etc... Jesus Christ, what some people have the time to worry about.
  16. What are some reliable, practical 2nd vehicle options?

    This is what I’m looking at…Royal Enfield INT650, $6400, 60 mpg.
  17. Ford Protect Extended Warranty

    2021 XLT, Tremor - 35,500 miles: 8 years, 125K, $100 ded. =$1600
  18. Stolen tail light thread

I suspect it was a small body shop that placed an “order”.
  19. How to add the door keypad?

I moved the keypad to the inside of the fuel door. It doesn’t scream to the bad guys that the keys might be inside the truck. I’ve lost my keys in a pretty remote area while hunting once. No cell service so Ford Pass would have been little use. Hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing…just leave the...
