I had the Ford Performance Package installed on my 21 Ranger after purchase. Is there an update and do I need to check every so often for another.

I have a 21 Ranger with a tonneau cover and occasionally drive on unpaved roads. The dust problem has been bothering me also. I put a plastic covered storage box in back to keep luggage, groceries and other valuables clean and just tried some foam tubes, but this kit sounds like the solution...

That’s just what I was thinking. 10 gallons of premium with a 75 cent difference to regular is about what a pint of craft beer costs. I guess it’s what gives you the biggest thrill!

Are the Ford techs taking calls yet? I tried several weeks ago to get some questions answered, but online chat was the only option. Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I prefer to actually talk to someone!

OK, Lots of good info to study on. Maybe I should drive slower! or maybe I need to add about 1000 lbs in the back to equal the weight of my F-150 before I spend $ on new shocks or sway bar!

Well I didn't have a limit in my F-150. I could travel at 60-70 mph+ and no problem keeping a straight line. The Ranger gets a little squirrley at 50 mph on the washboard road. Just wondering if anyone had this experience and what the fix might be?

I just want to keep it as a fun street rod and still be able to navigate gravel roads at 60-70 mph as I am used to doing!

I have a 2021 Lariat and drove it on some gravel country roads. I hit some washboards or series of bumps in the road and they almost threw me off the road as my truck skewed sideways. Anyway, maybe the Ranger is lighter in weight of course than the F-150 I am used to driving, but maybe someone...

OK, I've had different 4-wheel drive pick-ups over 30+ years and I still don't know what difference a couple 100 lbs in the back would make. It seems to me that maybe 1000 lbs or 20 bags of 50 lb salt or sand would make a difference. Any way, when it gets slick 4WD does the trick as the front...

OK, but there is another thread going on another forum on the same subject. Anyway I think I have have the same Ranger as you, and what worked for me if you have keyless ignition is to just leave the key fob in the truck. It won't lock and the horn won't beep!

Well I've gone 70 plus before and never got scared, but when you start going sideways it makes you think!

What about different shocks? Would you recommend them?

Thanks, I will look into it. I definitely drive too fast on country roads and different shocks might be the thing! I assumed what I had were among top of the line!
