Let the engine idle until the RPMs drop. That's all my local dealer would say and I do not have the issue if I let it idle until RPMs drop under 1,000. Yes, it's really annoying when you're just making a local trip.

I paid a shop to do it because I have more money than free time (not that I have much of either). Shop also did UCAs and an alignment. Dropped off at night, picked it up the next afternoon.

If you do go with 1UP and want to get their locks, order them all at the same time so they're like-keyed. Sure, the lock can be defeated just like most bike locks, but they're better than nothing. Also, their locks do not contact the bike frame so when your truck is bouncing around you're not...
