@PNWPIK another vote for Granger. they make the process super easy and very (relatively speaking) inexpensive. definitely worth it if you plan to keep the truck a long time. Just keep in mind that the warranty start from the original in-service date, not the date you bought it.
So, I recently took a trip from lower NY out to Cape Cod to visit a buddy.
'21 Tremor only mods are k&n, mishi charge pipes, and Borla exhaust. I'm running 87 octane
My only advice is to stay easy on the throttle inputs i guess. ?‍♂️?

I've had 5 different full sized trucks over the years and while I loved them all for different reasons. Choosing to downsize was a very difficult choice at first because I didnt want to lose my 'big truck' capability but I havent regretted it for a second. I have yet to encounter something that...
thus highlighting the problem with Ford (or any other brand) accessories...
They dont make most of this stuff. they just pay another company to put their logo on it and resell it at a mark up. So when theres a problem they just shrug their shoulders because its not their product. The lesson...
agreed. it would be nice to have a 20 instead of the 18 gal tank but not worth buying a brand new one from Ford at $2k. I was just thinking about the theoretical.
If i lived out west, and had access to all that yall have to explore, then an LRA would be a no brainer. but, alass, I'm stuck in...
? yeah, no big suprise there. Ford not being clear about something?!? no way!! ?
I did try to look at the Ford parts website to see if there actually was a difference but I could only find the 2.3 tank and the 2.7 tank. EDIT* I did find the diagrams for the 2.3/2.7 and the 3.0 and they do appear...
an interesting observation I noticed on the Ford website today while looking into the 2.7........
the 6G's will still have the 18 gal tank for the 2.3 and the 2.7.. but i noticed that the RRaptor gets a 20 gallon tank.
Theoretically** could be a much easier and more cost effective swap for a...
obviously the 10r80 wasnt a headache they wanted to keep using...... The 10R60 is apparently good enough for the RRaptor and the Explorer ST, so it should be stout enough for the 2.3 and 2.7's
Personally I think the 2.7 should be a blast. I love it in my wifes Edge ST and have had it for 40k...
talk to the general or service manager. If its been in several times for the same problem and it wasnt fixed properly, thats on them, it should still be covered.
Looks like Ford has added the 2.7L to the build and price system on the website. Im not seeing any other changes for Job 2 though. looks like a $2195 option on a 4x4 Lariat.
I know this is a little bit of a subjective question but........ How much louder does this make the exhaust note? I currently have the "ford performance" a.k.a. Borla exhaust, I like it, but I really dont want it to be any much louder than it already is. I'm all for performance bolts on's but...
