Thanks everyone. I see some of the ones on eBay have the BLIS module with it and others don’t. Do I need to buy the one that has the module or can i move the module from my cracked housing to the assembly from eBay.
My buddy dinged a dime size hole in the drivers side taillight of my 2019 Ranger Lariat. Can someone please tell me a good place to buy a replacement lens? I’m hoping the lens is replaceable without needing to replace the whole LED assembly. Thank you!
We love it here in Old Town Alexandria. I can walk to my boat on the river and 100 restaurants and bars. The grocery store and pharmacy is a few blocks away. The neighborhood is safe and I’ve never had a problem with crime. I’ve only put 19k miles on the truck in 4 years. Kids school is two...
I believe this is not a bug. I’ve had no problems with my Ranger since I posted this 2-3yrs ago. I still Get the noise under the conditions previously described, I just don’t think it’s an issue that needs to be addressed. Just a noise, no harm.
I occasionally haul a 5000lb boat and 6,000lb cargo trailer. Maybe once a month. Do the Timbrens negatively impact ride quality when not towing? I have the Eibach springs and struts and I don’t want to mess up the unloaded ride. Thanks!
Here are some pics from my install. This isn’t full instructions but should help. I only pulled back the trim pieces as much as I needed. Some popped off some just opened slightly and that was enough. Do not attempt this install without plastic trim pulling tools. These you can get for less than...
I've just come to accept the previous explanation that it's the injectors running in split-shot mode. They apparently don't run in it all the time it's dependent on factors such as temperature. This should be evident in other vehicles running the same engine but the noise isolation on those...
I’ve noticed the throttle on my truck seems more responsive with a full tank of gas. If I get down, for example, to 50 miles remaining on the tank it seems more sluggish. Is this in my head or does the truck maximize fuel economy if it’s getting lower on gas? I haven’t noticed a hard cutoff...
Really great info, thanks for sharing. I have the tune from Unleashed but it's really interesting to see these tables and what's behind it. Really appreciate you sharing your insights and knowledge.
I’m considering swapping out my stock front struts for the Eibachs. I won’t DIY this one. Any idea what a shop would charge for the install? An hour or two of labor?
is alignment needed too?
If anyone hasn’t installed the Eibach rears yet, but is going to, please try and measure the rear wheel well height before/after. I have the impression it raised the rear a bit, but it could just be in my brain. @joeb427 feels like a bit more rake.
Jason, I like the Eibach rear shocks. If I want to add the front struts and keep the stock ride height, or add like an inch, would I just keep the factory springs and only buy the struts...
It’s odd Eibach
Thanks. I checked with Stage3 and they said mono tube shocks can go in either direction. They prefer them barrel up / shaft down to try and further protect barrel from puncture. I don’t off-road though so I guess either way would be fine by me. Thanks for looking out.
I installed the rears Eibach shocks today and drove around for an hour or so. I have a 4x4 non-fx4. So I was upgrading stock shocks (not the Fox FX4 shocks). My intent was to reduce the bounciness and I got advice from Stage 3. A couple of notes:
First of all the shipping and customer service...
