It's the one everyone gets off ebay from Australia. Fits a shallow 10" sub. Right after I finally splurged on one of these, which I've wanted for a while, I got an offer I couldn't refuse to replace my Ranger. I only opened the box it shipped in to take these pics. It was $204 USD to my door in...

Interesting. I have probably put 75% of the 78k on mine with a 220lb dirt bike plus another 100lbs of crap in the bed. I've never noticed a difference loaded & unloaded.
Basically, yes. The bucking is subtle. There's a long thread on the issue here. I replaced the first one at 46k. It was not subtle then, but that was how long it took for me to figure out what was causing it. Now I'm hypersensitive to it so I change it early.
2019 XLT SC 4x4 bought in March of 2020 nearing 80k
Fresh Mobil 1 & rotate tires every 5K
DPFE's every ~25k ($15 part on RockAuto)
Dealer hasn't touched my truck since I picked it up - would bang again.
It's been an issue for over 4 months. I wouldn't consider myself a very demanding customer, but that is unacceptable. I gave up waiting on Ford to fix it and went the Cyanlabs route. All function as it should, which isn't too much to ask in my opinion.
Well, good news / bad news.
3/9/20 - took ownership of my 2019 Ranger w/ 32 miles on it
7/1/22 - first DFPE sensor replacement at 46,260 miles due to bucking/surging & eventual code P139C
8/19/23 - 2nd DFPE sensor replacement at 71,507 miles
Much milder symptoms this time but I didn't want to...
I don't disagree with you, but I got tired of waiting. If you take a half hour and read back, it's a simple process and any hurdles are addressed in the last few pages of this thread. You do what you want.
I think that time mine wouldn't come back up a soft reboot helped too:
Press and hold the Seek Up (>>|) button while pressing and holding the Radio Power button.
The first time I ever did one it took a while. I think rwdata partition being full makes it worse.
So far the 22200 build I flashed back to has been flawless.
