IM interested as well in a topper. One question I have is how much of the cost would be painting Platinum White to match the truck. What kind of discounts can one expect on these

The only dealer here sells Leer though.

That 3 stage paint and process is pricey.
Also matching is tough.

How much was this optioned out at?

I think 2300-2500 MSRP. I paid quite a bit less - been buying from him for years, and sending customers to him, too.

Is it my imagination or did the topper help level the truck??? I was thinking about some Bilstein adjustable shocks to level the truck but I want to consider a topper first to see if the weight helps level the truck and kill two birds with one stone...

Can't help but to bring down the rear end some, but not enough to level it.

From an aesthetic point of view, I don't like how the rear of the cab curves down but the cap is straight. But that's just a nitpick.

Hey bandit67, on the V series were you able to get the E option on the lock so that the key fob would unlock it? I was told I could not get it on the V series.

It's still rear end high with the topper.

I don't believe the key fob lock was an option.

Ordered the V series Friday. Was told A.R.E. was running behind & would be at least 6 weeks for delivery. Only option was the drop down front window. Price was $1850. Cx series is $200 more.
