What's the cost to get them rebuilt? If it's like $600, people will likely just opt for a new set and you'll want to know that up front. When it comes to selling used shocks, if you're willing to ship, keep that cost in mind. The front coilover setups are pretty heavy and can be costly to ship.

My assumption is the clutch wear comes from the lower RPM engagement of the gear. Thinking of a manual car trying to start out in a higher gear from a stop. You'll have to slip the clutch a lot more to pull it off.
