well if it was in the turbo Iām sure Iād know by now lol
But it could 100% fit in the intercooler tubes? Unless youāre meaning past the accessible 3ā? Tube and -inside- the intercooler?
Maybe, but Iām almost 99% it went in, but maybe my eyes deceived me and thatās what happened. Iāve been driving no issues but for peace of mind gonna remove the intercooler and rinse it out. He mentioned it could be stuck in a small layer of oil in the intercooler or a corner or something.
Update: Mechanics camerad and did their things and tricks and didnāt find it in the turbo and could not locate it in the intercooler where it must be. He said itās ok to drive, Iām weary but Iām going to pick it up today and probably for peace of mind take the intercooler out myself and verify...
Also retrieval was a fail. Iām also not entirely sure if it went into the turbo or the intercooler. Either way Iām having it towed to a mechanic as Iāve not the time to take everything apart searching for davy jones lost screw.
Iāll be attempting retrieval tonight via shop vac. Iāll update if it works
Otherwise Iāll get the camera before absolutely have to rip everything off
I believe it should be at the bottom of the turbo just at the bottom of the little slide inside for lack of a better term that I know of lol. So Iāll be trying to use a small hose and vacuum it out hopefully. Had it gone down the side towards the intercooler would have been better as it likely...
So as some might have, I had a dummy moment and dropped a blow off valve screw (aluminum of course) down the intercooler pipe and into the turbo I presume. Anyone had this issue? Iām assuming my only options are get a micro vacuum kit/hose for my shop vac and try and suck it out or Iāll have to...
Hey all, just installed a mishimoto cold air intake in my ā22 tremor and I was expecting a more throaty inhale sound, but ended up just being a sort of wind noise or sucking sound upon acceleration and wondering what your thoughts are. Normal sound? Or maybe Iām just older now and donāt care for...
