I felt the same but decided to give them a shot. I ordered 1” BORA spacers on Black Friday and they are great and the fit is excellent.
how much were they??

For a set of four?? Did you have to cut any of the bolts?
Yep, for a set of four. No cutting necessary with the Sport wheels as they have pockets between the holes on the back of the rim. I'm not 100% sure if you'd need to cut even without the pockets, it'd be very close.

One thing to double check though is that your factory lug nuts are deep enough, I could tell by looking at them that it was going to be close, the spacers have much longer threads than the truck does. I put each nut on and torqued them down and then pulled them off and inspected the inside. Only one had touched due to a small bur on the stud but that was easily fixed with a file.

I just leveled it with the back. I’m assuming it’s around 2-2.5 inches.

no I haven’t looked into that yet. Would be a good idea to have the right sized spare. I know with the Tacoma’s you could get a full 33 fit with some small trimming. I’ll take a look at the ranger and see.

Yeah, i seen a picture around here of a 255/70 fitting fairly snug, im worried about the 255/75, but I like me a narrow tall tire...

My Truxedo ProX15 just came in. Install was okay with spray in bedliner. A drill/driver helped immensely getting two bolts to go in that were affected by the bedliner. The only other problem I encountered was with the push pin holder bolts. Could not get them to push in all the way but don’t think it affects anything. Overall, really pleased with the fit and finish. Got it from a eBay seller for 425. I will update with more impressions once I get some use out of it.
