Ford Ranger Raptor Makes Global Debut, Coming to Europe w/ 2.0L Diesel Engine & 10-Speed Auto

The 2020 Ford Ranger Raptor just made its global debut at the Gamesconm trade fair in Cologne, Germany and Ford has confirmed a mid-2019 European release of the Ranger Raptor!

Ford has also released specifications for the Ranger Raptor which will feature a bi-turbo version of the company’s 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine, delivering 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The Raptor also receives Ford’s latest new 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The Ranger Raptor was developed by Ford Performance and will also feature high performance dampers with 46.6 mm pistons are supported by aluminium control arms, with protruding shock absorber towers at the front and a bespoke new coilover rear suspension arrangement featuring an integrated Watt’s linkage that allows the axle to move up and down with very little lateral movement. Braking is performed by twin-piston front callipers; 332 mm by 32 mm ventilated front discs; and 332 mm by 24 mm ventilated rear discs.
