I have a pair of OEM 2019 ford ranger lariat LED headlights that are in flawless condition!! No broken tabs, protective film over the headlights to keep from scratches and no damages!

Hey Nate, I am in the area...I have a 2021 STX | FX4 with halogens. I have been considering the Alpharex or Morimoto. Are the OEM stock LEDS comparable?

If I’m 100% honest I think the stock OEM leds are brighter than the Morimoto xb.
If I had to pick headlights again I think I would stay with the OEM led headlights. The only reason I kept the moritmotos is because installing them took me quite awhile because I have an aftermarket front bumper which isn’t the easiest to take off by myself. I currently am running the Morimotos and have noticed a few things that I guess are normal issues. The start up sequence sometimes isn’t in sync with the right headlight. Apparently this is a common issue. There is a few other smaller annoyances but nothing that bothers me too much.

As far as brightness you really won’t see a difference between morimotos and OEM led headlights.
