Interior footwell lighting

I found that having no lighting on the gear shifter or below was a bit plain. I bought these LED lights on Amazon. I bought red and clear, not sure which I'd like better. They sell 6 one-foot strips for $10. You can cut them down but you have to cut off the lights in multiples of three. I put a full strip under each footwell and I cut one strip down to three light for the center column. The picture looks a bit brighter than they actually are. I tapped the 12V from the accessory plug. They turn on when I start the truck and they shut off an hour or so after I turn the truck off. I am putting two more trips in, one on the bottom rear of the seats for the back seats.
