I’m about to go off roading with my truck in a few days. There’s a spot out here with a hill climb that has a 30-40% grade....

what is the max grade you’d take your stock fx4 out on? I definitely don’t want to roll a one month old truck.

Depends on the terrain. Limestone solid rock - no problem. Muddy or snowed dirt hillside- problem. I would climb until wheel spin (loss of traction) becomes an issue.

Yeah it’s just a sandy dirt hill pretty much. I’m thinking I’d go down but not up.
