Absolutely love my Tremor at 38k miles but my FOX is nearing the end of its life . Fox has been great, phenomenal on slow rough off road and deep beach sand, not so great on Provincetown deep stutter sand (unless very slow), amazing control in 6” plus snow covered highway at 60 mph. Otherwise great ride! General ATX tires are freaking great in snow even half worn. But back to topic. I want longer lasting shocks for next round ($2000 for next 40 k miles is too expensive, and Id like a bit more stiffness (head wag, I am mostly on road, and I hope to go to odometer 150,000 miles on next set).

Shock Warehouse trying to help but no one knows if Ranger Eibachs will work on Tremor! Eibach would bring me in fora test fit but I am in Vt!

Question: is there a Tremor owner with worn Fox system that is close to Eibach (California) and interested in a similar change?

Nearly worn out. please help!

Thanks

past trucks: 85‘ Toyota 4wd 5 sp SR5; 90’s Jeeps wrangler, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, 2005 Frontier; 2011 Tacoma 4 liter.; 2015 4 Runner. (Will probably be running until 2050! but missed the pickup); Ranger Tremor is by far my favorite.

I’m in a 23’ Ranger Tremor, I’m in Cali but corona ca is roughly 6-7 hours away, might be able to do a trip down there in probably 3-4weeks, although that may not be soon enough.
It would be a trip to make for me to help answer this question straight from eibach with a test fit situation.. wish I could give you a confirmed date I could get down there, life’s just busy for us all.
I’ll keep you posted if no one else closer to that area with a stock tremor can make it.

I have been starting to wonder what I would do next too since I am at 48k miles and recently saw that Fox expects only 40k or 50k miles out of them. For whatever reason I just assumed 60k would have been expected. For whatever reason I like Fox and King. Maybe because Eibach I associated with on-road so much. Icon is interesting too but always loved Fox on my mountain bikes and King seems to be legendary.

I would like something I could adjust easily when airing down but have not really looked yet. My shocks still feel fine, probably because I have not had time to go off-roading as much as I used to. Just something I am STARTING to look into.

I wish there was something I could adjust from inside the truck (Dang Raptors), Tein has been making remote adjustable shocks for maybe 20yrs now but not sure if anything like that for off-road applications, probably because our shocks are easier to get to.

I will keep an eye out on this thread.

A post (Tremor/Eibach) 3rd reply I think found Eibach ProTruck 2.0s fit his Tremor. I forwarded the pictureof it to [email protected] and he verified the Eibach E86-35-048-02-22 Pro-Truck Stage 2R Lift kit Front and Rear will fit my Tremor And gave me a good quote. So I placed an order. Will report back after a few months how it goes.

Just got Eibachs 2.0R on. did a good highway run and a few rough dirt roads. Im very happy with these Eibachs So far. Excellent! Raised front 1 inch on the Tremor and like the look and a bit better approach angle (there is still 1 inch rake as my Tremor was originally 2 inches higher in back). I feel the Fox 2.0s were just a bit more supple on road. No regrets! Cheers! listed the Fox’s on the marketplace for $200.
