I favored the Clash and the Ramones, never listed much to the Dead Kennedys, Blondie also had some punk rock tunes. I posted a song (police on my back) from the Sandanista album by the Clash - 3 set lp which I recall sold for $10 back in the day, they did some covers on the album - like "I fought the law and the law won" and also a tune by daymon dogg who had taught Joe Strummer guitar, strange voice but it has guitars, violins, bagpipes, piano and I think some outstanding drumming by Topper Headon who eventually got booted from the clash because of heroin. might be worth a listen if only for the instrumental arrangements.
Meh.I like them both also. It is widely known in my circle of friends and family that if the zombies come... my plan for dying well is this: out on the front lawn, nothing but a pair of shorts on, with a pile of weapons, and my boom box on the porch playing the Ramones as loud as possible. That, my friends, is dying well!
I watched way too much The Walking Dead. LOL
