Item: A.R.E CX Revo Truck Cap with Rhino Rack
Asking Price: $2,800 OBO
Location: Shenandoah County, VA
Specs: 5’ bed, frameless windows, frameless rear contour window, fabric headliner, 12v led dome light, third brake light. Includes roof track and elock. Rhino Rack is included and I have an extra awning (6x6) that I can throw in for free if the buyer needs one.
Install: I can meet within 100 miles to bring the cap to a location for it to be removed from truck.

The time has come for me to sell my beloved A.R.E truck cap. I purchased the cap immediately after purchasing the Ranger and couldn’t have been any happier with it. To me, the CX Revo gave the Ranger an upgraded look and improved the lines and drive-ability of the truck. I’ve owned the cap since 2020 and am selling it because I’m switching over to a Four Wheel Camper Project M. Happy to answer any questions.

I am new to truck caps and was interested in a CX Classic with the windoors on each side. Do the frameless side windows on this model open or are they stationary?

Update: after a little more thought, I’ve decided not to sell the topper. I’ll keep this post up until the end of the year in case members were giving some thought to the sale. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If you are interested, I decided against selling because I don’t plan to keep the Project M mounted on the Ranger full time. When the M is not on, I still want to have a full enclosure over the bed. Keeping the A.R.E topper also gives me a safety net in case I decide to go a different direction with the Project M. I went to an A.R.E dealer today to see how much the same or similar topper would cost me in Dec 2024, and they quoted around $3,600. Add the Rhino Rack track bars and pioneer platform and the total gets up to $5,000. It just made more sense for me to keep the A.R.E topper as I do intend to keep the Ranger long term as my main camping/adventure rig and hauler.
