fuel door

Hello all, I just returned home from a work trip and my wife was using the truck. Somehow the fuel door (broke itself) and won't fully close ?. I found that it looks to be the little spring portion, however from what I searched this doesn't look like a replaceable part. I'm hoping I'm wrong...
