cold weather

Hey guys... The other day after my truck sat outside in -5 temps all night, it had warmed up to about 10 degrees during the day and I tried to remote start the truck but it failed to remote start, not sure why. Not a big deal. So I jumped in and didn't let it warm up at all, it reversed fine...

Currently I'm in the CA desert. It's hot, it's dusty and I'm at a low altitude. Soon I'll be living at 5,000+ feet in cold CO this winter. Are there any modifications that will help my Ranger out in the new climate? Current thoughts: Change wiper fluid to one that has a lower freezing...
