They are no joke - the feeders don't care what they are feeding into the giant spinning disc/drum of death.
Given the sheer amount of time savings by using a machine like this, it would be remiss to rush feeding it and putting ones self at risk.
Pretty much this - there are few dozen cubic yards of brush here. Hiring it out is impossible for the next few weeks because any outfit with a chipper is already making money hand over fist.
It looks like the height is adjustable on the trailer side so hopefully not too much adjustment is needed. I'm trying to find the coupler height to see what rough sizing it might need.

I echo this - I had a #800 brakeless trailer with a #1200 stump grinder loaded on it. The ranger did fine but you needed to give plenty of room to slow down and you could feel the trailer there as you slowed.
