Do you still use and support your posting about the Andersen hitch? I'm considering the same for my camper, also 16ft and 3200 lbs loaded.
Thank you in advance!
I use wire ties to place these rodent pouches under my hood. I also use them in my camper over the winter. I've never had a issue since I started using them. Available from Amazon.
Thank you for your prompt reply. This thread has been very helpful to me. Looks like I'll be looking into a DC to DC charger! Oh, by the way, how are the Weize LiFePo4 batteries working out?
Thank you for keeping us all up to date on your installation. I tow a 16ft travel trailer with a 2020 Ranger Lariat. I'm in the process of swapping my two 100 amp Weize AGM's for LiFePo4 batteries as well. I've got 400 watts of solar, 200 on the roof & 200 portable. I've disabled my WFCO AC...
On the way home to Maine after 5 months on the road. About 3500lbs fully loaded. At 65 mph I get about 14-15 mpg. I use a Ford installed Redarc brake controller and a standard ball hitch without any sway control, no issues at all (knock on wood!).
I didn't realize the link to my camper was no longer valid, sorry!
