I did the same thing with my 2010, had a hard time with it too.

2019, 35,500 miles, stock xlt, 95% city driving, 16 to 17 mpg with a light foot (most of the time)

I found a similar set, thank you, quick question, did you tap these into any existing harness or run to battery with its own switch? Was wondering if there is enough juice to tap these into the side marker harness?

I went with the AVS Bugflector II. I went to Lowes and got some bigger sized push in fasteners and made the holes a littler larger to accommodate. The push ins that came with the AVS left a little to be desired. looks sharp once it is on.

I thought the same thing with mine, loud fan at start up and loud engine, I installed the foam engine cover, it helps some, not as much as I have hoped. You get use to it after awhile.

I have a 2019, XLT 4x4 with just under 31,000, running 87 octane I get 16-17 Mpg, mostly in town driving.

Mine is also just around 16-17mpg
