My 2nd set of rotors was aftermarket, with a coating to help protect from warping. Here I am less than 3000 miles later needing new ones. Brake pads were also new ceramic
Yes I understand an applied parking brake would screw up a rotor lol. I was wondering if anyone's heard if the parking brake jamming, causing this. No electric parking brake here.
So 2 or 3 months ago I had new rear rotors put on, and they're warped already. The place that put them on said they're going to warranty them for me but..
After doing research apparently this isn't just a problem I'm having. Apparently there's something about the parking brake staying engaged...
So I just got my Shrockworks sliders installed, they look great but much to my surprise there are only 2 mounting brackets compared to the 3 or 4 for Toyotas, hoping they don't bend back towards my body too easy!
