  1. Sub inclosure vibrations caused by cabin pressure vent...

I know this is an old thread but I saw nobody replied so I thought I would throw in my two cents. I made a custom box for behind the rear seat and ran into the same issue. I noticed the actual plastic was rattling in the metal cut out of the body. What I ended up doing was taking flex seal and...
  2. Airaid Intake

Added to original post just now
  3. Airaid Intake

So I have seen very little in terms of actual consumer commentary on the Airaid intake for the Ranger 5g. So here's my opinion and request for some feedback... IT SUCKS. The manufacturing is terrible: - The screw holes don't line up at the base with the factory screw holes - There are no...
  4. Xpel PPF installed !!

    Good lookin truck ?
  5. Another transmission thread (yay)

!!DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!! In FORScan for resetting the tables you go to "Service Functions" (the little wrench) and the first option is "PCM - Clear Transmission Adaptive Tables". That's what I ran to clear up the shifting issue. As far as the mileage - I've only put ~650 of those on since...
  6. Another transmission thread (yay)

I had the original service done back in early December of 2022. So, it's been about 3 months now since they rebuilt the valve body. Luckily no issues have come up and luckily i still have just under 2 years left on the powertrain warranty if something else does come up. Whether or not the...
  7. Another transmission thread (yay)

I want to share my experience with the exact same issue. Leaving the neighborhood doing between 25-30mph it would shift up to 4th just fine then it would act like it wanted to shift to 5th but wouldn't. After bucking a bit it would finally clunk in to 5th. I took it in to my local dealership...
  8. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Just thought I'd throw my experience in here.... I am experiencing what I thought was similar to what is described in this thread: when I take off at a slow start (for example after pulling out of the drive and driving through the neighborhood) going about 20-25 it shifts up to 4th gear and...
  9. Front Strut Install Problems

Had the new struts on in under two hours. Set at 2" lift. MUCH easier with the right ones. Took it for a test drive and heard a clunking and got pissed. Was just a loose sway bar link. Tightened it up and all was good. Getting alignment done tomorrow at 2. EDIT: I am at about a 1° positive...
  10. Front Strut Install Problems

UPDATE! Exchanged several emails with KW Automotive and sent several pics of installation as well as measurements. It's the wrong strut - with the wrong PN stamped in to it. They are shipping the correct struts out today so I should have them by this weekend to install. I'll give another...
  11. Front Strut Install Problems

I have the Belltech shock absorbers on the rear of the truck and they are great. They know suspensions so lifting isn't a far stretch. After researching for months the Belltech set seemed the best mix of value, performance and quality vs. what's currently available on the market.
  12. Front Strut Install Problems

They do say street performance but what's odd is 26021 is stamped in to the metal and on the sticker (see pics below). Just fyi I am in agreement with you that these aren't the correct struts for this truck.
  13. Front Strut Install Problems

I didn't because it was done as far as it would go when I tried the strut with spacer rings. There were still several inches of clearance left between ball joint and knuckle. After taking off all of the spacer rings and remounting the spring I was able to get the UCA down far enough with a...
  14. Front Strut Install Problems

Just an update. I have contacted KW Automotive/Belltech multiple times now and it's just going to their general voice mailbox. I left a message this morning but no response. I'm REALLY curious to hear what they have to say. Am I the first consumer to try and install these??
  15. Front Strut Install Problems

I'm not sure what you found. The 26021 struts are trail performance and look exactly like your photo. Do you have a link to the site you found that says the 26021 is for an F150?
  16. Front Strut Install Problems

I did have both sides up (significantly) on stands during the install. The other one is just off to the side in the photos. As for the spring compressors. I only tried those after nothing else was working. Appreciate the feedback and guidance though. Any ideas at this point are helpful.
  17. Front Strut Install Problems

All good questions. Yes - I double checked part numbers and it's all correct. They're the 26021 struts but I really don't think they're designed for this truck. Maybe an F150 or something bit def not a RWD ranger. I agree with the previous statement that it's way to tall when the setting i...
  18. Front Strut Install Problems

Mine is a RWD so luckily don't have to worry about CV joints
  19. Front Strut Install Problems

    Belltech's web site says they're the right part: https://www.belltech.com/belltech-trail-performance-front-lifted-26021.html 2019 XLT 2WD
  20. Front Strut Install Problems

UPDATE #2: pried stabilizer bar down a bit down and links are in now. Still worried cause stabilizer bar is now resting ~.75" above LCA
