Thanks, I'll give it a try after the dealer tells me everything is fine and I have to fix it myself...again thanks for the heads up....do you recommend shutting off Auto updates?
Anyone having issues with touch screen since doing update?? I have a 2020 Ranger Lariat, no nav system. Day after update 10/24/22 the screen acted like it had a mind of its own...would change temps, turn fan up, turn system on and off, change radio stations and anything else it wanted to...
Not sure if you are still following this post, but I also live in Florida on the Treasure Coast and have the same white on rubber at pillars between windows..my son-in-law has a friend who lives in Port St. Lucie and went to the dealer and they ordered him new rubber....Florida is really rough...
My only regret would be that they didn't and don't have a Hybrid...would be nice to get 40 mpg...I'll live with 20 to 24 and the amount of get up go the little 4 banger has with the turbo...good luck and that is one good looking truck...
Ok!! solved all of the small problems or they resolved their selfs, not sure, but it works....was able to hook up to a trailer that couldn't be moved so I was not able to calibrate, but had a green light and computer knew I had a trailer connected. Added a photo of the finished dash (should have...
Thanks,,,,,rolling around is putting it mildly.....big (old) man small space. I'll give it another try Saturday...interior light went off and yeah I am sure I hit a lot of buttons. I took the CHSML off and was able to release the lock on the connector and pull the complete harness out from under...
Ok gentlemen....the install went OK......pulling panels and crawling around under the dash sucked. Was able to pull the CHMSL connect down and was able to pull headliner out of top channel...and now for the problem....after all is hooked up the high mount brake light works but the bed light...
WOW! thanks for the information.....Hope to get started this weekend depending on weather,....thanks again...rec'd TBC today and noticed that the data cable is no longer a CAT5, but Redarc's own...looks long enough so hopefully will not be a problem...thanks again...
I have done a lot of towing from a 12' to a 37' trailers and I looked closely at the Curt wireless, but as a old timer I just couldn't trust the bluetooth part...I'll leave that to the young guys,.,.,.,but it does look very interesting and easy. Thanks for the input.
I understand what you are saying, but on the Lariat there is about a 1 inch metal channel for the sliding window that the headliner also goes into on the top. Not sure if the headliner will pop out. That's why I was wondering if you could get to the plug by taking the CHMSL light off and working...
Should have the TBC by end of week and have the same truck as you (Bulldogger)....Question,, would it help at all to take the CMSL off to help to get some access to the the plug? I was looking at headliner this afternoon and agree with you that it is a channel. I am also in Florida and am hoping...
