so checked the pink/white it has 12v when brake pressed and 0v when released. so know we have them all.
so the wiring is:
Yellow/red=12v power
black/green=to trailer
white=ground
violet/white=boo(brake on/off)
yes and by the was the 7 pin plug is upside down on our trucks so the brake and ground are on the top. and yes i jusmp the brake pin to ground and check continuity to ground and took jumper out and it is the wire. not sure when it changes to black/green but yeah its the wire. ill check the...
no it is missing the brake trigger you will have to tap into for that. so its black with green strip goes to the trailer yellow with red strip 12v power and white is ground.
#1 jumped brake to ground at the plug
#2 wires under dash
#3 checking for ground on the black/green wire
#4 show 12v at yellow/black wire (excuse the spelling)
#5 show ground at white wire
so the black and green got the back trailer brake pin. the yellow is 12v power and the white is ground. just checked with meter. just have to find a brake triger off the switch and be ready to go.
so i looked and there is a wire for brakes on the 7 pin i have followed it up to the engine bay then i loose it. looking at the owners manual it has fuses for trailer brakes and a trailer module. not sure where any of this is still trying to find that.
