Does the Redarc Trailer Brake Controller sold thru Ford work on the 2020 Ranger (XLT)? The parts person at the Ford dealership told me my s/n (VIN) is not compatible with my early 2020 Ranger? Not sure he knew what he was talking about?

I assume there is a connector to the console switch. I don’t have a wiring schematic of the switch, but, if 2 wire terminal ends could be swapped in the connector, would that connect power when ever the ignition is On, thus always having the switch Off all the time, and if you wanted it On...

On my 2020 XLT, just have to push the lock button once, then push the @2 button twice to start. Will run for 15 minutes then shut off. Your Lariet will have remote start.
