It can ... but there is adequate gap to wash and wax the hood.

The blue one with the options I wanted (xlt fx4) sold off the dealer's lot the day before I got there. Got magnetic and am not dissapointed.

Thankfully no injuries or major damage. I've had the bumper off my truck and it is pretty hefty. The bumper is bent if it's pushed back. You may get away with just bumper and fascia.

When we got our RV we also had to evaluate the tow systems. Started out with a dolly since we didn't have a flat towable car. What a pain! Bought a used Fiat 500 stick shift to flat tow and went with the Roadmaster baseplate. Found a used Falcon 2 towbar in like-new condition at a great price...

Thanks ... All together about 6 hrs. Have to drop the bash plate and bumper. Running the wiring took a bit of time too. Just followed the etrailer videos.

1 Week XLT/FX4 owner here. Just finished DIY install of Roadmaster direct connect base plate and universal wiring kit. Using with RVi Brake 3 and Falcon 2 towbar. Looking forward to first hookup!
