    I've got a (temporary) solution to disabling Auto Start Stop, got it from a fellow Ranger owner on Youtube... disconnect the little black 2-wire connector going to the negative terminal on your battery. It doesn't have any function, except when you unplug it, it doesn't allow Auto SS to engage...
