    I ordered mine on 6 Oct and only have heard what you have. My dealer also states a COVP is not required for the Ranger.

    I didn't do one that I know of when I placed my order 6 Oct. so I contacted my sales guy on this, he stated the COVP was not needed for my order. Wonder if that is because it is not a Bronco, Lightening, or Maverick? Don't know what to think now.
