Sorry to necro this thread but I'm recently going through the same process with my music files. I've always formatted USB drives used in my Ranger to eXFAT. However, the other day I grabbed one that was NTFS and the system would not read it. Is there a trick or size limit to using NTFS?

Actually backed one of those on Indiegogo. Looking at the Ford Ranger 21 specs it looks like Sync 3 again so I don't feel so bad ?

I checked at Crutchfield and they showed zero compatible units with a yellow warning that they do not recommend you replace the unit. Never seen that before on Crutchfield.

Is it true that Sync 4 will feature Android Auto wireless? If so does anyone have an idea of what it would cost to have the Sync 3 unit in 2020 replaced with a 4? If I had known in September (when I bought my 2020) that AA wireless would be an option I likely would have waited.

Does anyone know if this fits a 2020 Ranger? If not is there anything comparable out there? Have had my lariat FX4 for about 2 weeks and I'm kinda surprised how few accessories are available.
