Thanks again. I'm glad i could reach the grommet from the back so I can snake the wires through the hole. You'd think removing the seat back would be easy once you know about the bolt on top.
I was able to get to the grommet from underneath, finally, so I don't have to take the backrest off. It's still a mystery, though, why it wouldn't easily come off.
I removed the bolt but the darn backrest doesn't want to come out. One would think that you lift it up and it would clear the bottom to catches as shown in the attached pic. Am I wrong? Thanks.

I have to remove the back seat rest so I can get to a grommet to run some wires from the rear of the truck. Can't for the life of me figure out how to get it out. The bench is easy. Do I lift it up and it pops out? Thanks.
Hugely helpful. Page 23 showed me some grommets. Not in perfect locations but it will go a long way to making my life easier. I crawl under and take a look for thru the floor. Many many thanks.
