Does anyone know if the PCM (powertrain control module) and the ECU (engine control module) are the same unit or are the separate units, on 2017 Ranger?

forgot to mention that here in France the Ford warranty currently is only 2 years, they say nothing about powertrain or extended warranty. When I bought the truck in Jan 2018, the warranty was 3 years or 100,000Km (62,000 miles) and nothing about the powertrain. I will make some calls tomorrow...

I have friend's mechanic coming over tomorrow to take a look. If it has to go to a garage, I tow it in next Tuesday. Called a Ford dealership not too far from home, the earliest they could see it was 3 weeks from now.
