My first Ford was an Awesome 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door. It only had a 200 straight 6 but it was beautiful. Had stainless Plymouth rims on it (what a tight fit on the hub.)
Man that looks swell. I cant help but to like the black on black with some extra black. Kinda jealous of the pocket flairs, need a set soon. The BFGs look great on those rims.
Just wanted to say thanks again for your reply Stevo. The snow mode feels very much like AWD. You saved me putting out for that XLT cluster right away.
Hey fellow Ranger owners. I installed the TM knob and I can feel the difference between selections. I do not have the XLT instrument cluster yet.
My question : Is the snow control the first selection? We finally got a decent snow here in Ohio and I was out this morning making Christmas...
I thought someone might be interested. The stock 17" silver rims and Bridgestone tires weighed in at 61.3 pounds the XDs and Falkens weighed 99.9 pounds. Each of course. My bath scale may be a bit off. 40 more pounds of rotating mass each corner.
Just wanted to touch base. Still waiting on the 360 cam. I will have the dash open again and show some of the silly stuff. With the dash open I will take some PICs and do the write up with details.
Sorry to any that are waiting.
Finally found a free afternoon. The Fox 2.0 kit and XD Panzer rims w/ Falken 285/70/17s (-18 offset) made it on the truck. Had the windows tinted on Monday. Front Fabtech intrusion beam was a no go, rear seems fine. Made a nice hole in the garage for more stuff.
I will try and do a write up in the next day or two, provide links to the unit I used and some of the drawbacks. I will be adding a 360° cam setup if it ever arrives. PS the unit was $277.36 shipped ( from China ) not including the hard drive which was collecting dust on a shelf.
Dear Ford,
I love your Cars and Trucks. I know you thought putting the Sync bastǝrd base unit in an XL could defeat me. It did not. Remote start, check. In truck WiFi, check. No DTC's, check. 9" Android HU with Nav and 2TB drive, check. Fun factor making it all work, no check mark.
I actually have both a filament printer and a resin printer. These are supposed to be plug and play. Working with the seller (China time dif is a pain). If I get stuck with them I will make an attachment block.
Not only is there a -/+ 2" gap, it is also a bit forward set. Wish I had a 3d...
Fabtech intrusion bars came today. These things are beefy. Was going to get the BDS but some members on here mentioned the heft of these. They were right.
