  1. My Ranger Gave The Last Full Measure of Devotion

My son is 16 and has only been driving for a couple of weeks. He was out with his mom on a road that I told them he wasn't ready for yet. She yelled at him to slow down in a reducing radius curve on a country road. He did what any inexperienced driver would do. They flew off the road, hit a...
  2. Texas Two free sets of 5 bronco take-off wheels, one set lariat wheels

If no one has claimed the Lariat wheels, I'd like them.

  4. Bronco Wheels

Just had a set put on a couple weeks ago. I'll get you pics on Friday. While not my favorite wheel of all time as far as aesthetics, it's a really good combo and the It absolutely maxes out the stock setup and even then I think it should be street only.
  5. How Much Scrub Radius Change?

I been looking at various wheel options and I want to maintain my trucks handling. How much can the scrub radius change before having an noticable adverse effect?
  6. Other OEM wheels that fit?

Nice truck, but Sasquatch wheels are not exactly cheap and they are the opposite of light.
  7. Other OEM wheels that fit?

Have OBX Bronco takeoffs on right now. On the heavy side. Is there another takeoff wheel out there with the backspace to facilitate a little wider tire on the stock suspension or leveling struts? Preferably something lighter, cheap and good tire availability.
  8. Texas Wheels/Tires with tpms sensors included

If these are still available, we need to talk about pickup arrangements.
  9. Ranger 2020 STX

Bought ours two weeks ago. Supercrew vs. Supercab, but STX. Everything we need, nothing we don't. There are some details I don't care for. The shifter is a pain in the ass, but I suspect if I drove it.more I would get accustomed to it.
  10. Ranger Based Tribute to First Gen. Lightning

That seems to be the the way. What rubber?
  11. Ranger Based Tribute to First Gen. Lightning

Mr. Schilke, Were the chassis/suspension modifications as extreme on the Nite as the Lightning? It looks like substantial handling improvement in the current Ranger will need more radical work than I want to get into right now.
  12. Ranger Based Tribute to First Gen. Lightning

That's along the lines of what I want to do, but that might be a little more radical than I want to go. The $4k in suspension is a chunk. Not saying it might not be totally worth it, but that's getting closer to second gen. Lightning.
  13. Ranger Based Tribute to First Gen. Lightning

I'm open to suggestions. Improving the handling seems the biggest obstacle and the most reasonable place to start.
  14. Ranger Based Tribute to First Gen. Lightning

My wife and picked up our new Supercrew SXT earlier this week and we both love it. It is in many ways the throwback truck that I have been searching for. I am struck by the the similarities between our Ranger and the first generation Lightnings. Looking at the various performance options...
