I experienced the same. Not sure what this was. My CHD number was different than yours. Definitely not NA maps update, because I already had the latest from the 21098 update. This download took a couple of weeks, literally, to complete. But it did eventually go away.
I'm in Dallas. I may not travel around as much as I did before the pandemic. But whenever I go out, i always see at least 1 Ranger. Lately it seems there are more on the roads than the dealerships. Chip shortage I imagine.
There's some videos out there on Youtube for these SCCA events. Here's one from '87 where Steve Saleen had an early lead. Not the same trucks though.
This takes me back to the first Ranger I ever drove. And learned standard on. My Dad's '86. Man that thing could fly. I was surprised I never...
Thanks for confirming. I need to check daytime as well. It was twilight last night when i went for my test drive. I don't see any adjustments to change this.
I did the update in less than 25 minutes. So far, everything seems fine with Sync screen. But my backup camera appears grainy at night. I'll have to check it during daylight. Has anyone noticed a difference in the camera?
It can be fully electric and not have memory presets. My parents GMC Sierra is like this. But to your point, Ford obviously decided to reduce production costs and not make they seat fully electric. Thus cancelling any chance of presets.
Yes, missing memory presets is a total bummer on the Lariat. But you know what would make me happy on my Lariat? Electronic driver seat back adjustment would be great. I mean buttons on the seat bottom and manual adjustment on the seat back? Come on!
Some observations to add here. This morning it was in the 30's when i was getting ready for work. 15 minutes before i left, opened the garage and remote started from the FOB. When I got in, drivers seat was warm. I remembered this thread and checked the passenger seat. it was warm as well. Cool...
I've been seeing more and more Rangers around the Dallas Metroplex after a long drought. Mostly in the last week. But this one I found very interesting. Regrettably I didn't have time to stop and gawk.
Here it is. One of the brackets got bent during shipping, but I was able to straighten it without any further damage. Hardest part about the install was fishing the wire down towards the marker light.
