Yes they slide into place

They are tough cutting for sure. Once they are out it is easy. I used a jig saw with carbide tipped blades. You will go through a few of them fyi.

The F150's years back had some of these issues. You can talk to your dealer and have them make you an appointment to take it to a reputable body shop to have them aligned. Just make sure the door seals are tight, no leaks and no wind noise or rattles. My doors sit pretty flush, maybe out 1/8" on...

Got them in today. They are seriously strong and Fabtech quality. Pic shows the difference between oem bar and Fabtech. Will get them installed in the next day or so with pictures.
